Dr. Rebecca Shwartz is a naturopathic physician and acupuncturist specializing in autoimmune disease, Lyme disease, and other complex chronic conditions. She bridges the gap between alternative and conventional medicine; treating the root cause of disease.
She received her doctorate in naturopathic medicine and masters in acupuncture from Bastyr University in 2010. She also studied Ayurvedic medicine through apprenticing with physicians in Southern India.
After graduating from Bastyr, Dr. Shwartz completed advanced studies and personal mentorship in five element acupuncture. She then went on to study spiritual healing at the University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism.
Prior to studying medicine, Dr. Shwartz worked in community organizing and organic farming. She received her Bachelors of Arts from Oberlin College in biology and environmental studies. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, cooking and doing art projects with her two small children.
