I am alive, alert, awake and enthusiastic. I have been reflecting lately on perception and the ways in which people see and experience their world. I have been in the presence recently of people who say they are seeking a better, more awake path yet they run from the very thing they are seeking. I listen to those same folks judge those who are not running and are growing.

I am reminded of a Friedrich Nietzsche quote: The higher we soar the smaller we appear to those who cannot fly. I often asked myself if those who project their fear on others are unwilling to fly or are they not able to fly. Are they holding themselves to the ground on purpose or are they simply continuing some internal belief that keeps distracting them somehow.

I historically thought that all people had the same ability and desire to grow and evolve. I would become frustrated and did not understand why these people judge others or even be upset or angry. It is interesting to ponder these ideas of flying and growing.

Today, I am continuing my journey and my wonderful flying lessons. I keep flying higher and higher. I love the view from here! I hope to share this expansive beauty with many others. In this loneliness can be a thing of the past. Until next time, be well.
